Rochester salon rolls out gender neutral pricing

ROCHESTER, N. Y. (WHAM) – It’s no secret at most salons that women typically pay more than men, but some stylists are now asking, “Why? ” “Sitting in this very chair, I had two clients back to back. One male, one female and they had the exact same haircut basically down to the clipper,” said Erika Sorbello, Owner of Gallery Salon in Rochester. A few years ago, Sorbello started to question her pricing.
